Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 to 2 Tbsp. paprika
- 2 c. chicken stock
- 1 cut up fryer
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. sour cream
Method
- Heat oil and butter in Dutch oven.
- Add onion and paprika; cook until brown.
- Stir in salt and chicken stock; bring mixture to a boil.
- Add chicken and reduce heat.
- Simmer 45 minutes or until tender.
- Stir together flour and sour cream and stir into chicken mixture.
- Heat through, but do not boil.
- Serve with dumplings (or rice).
