Ingredients

  • 2 lb chicken boneless/skinless
  • 8T butter, divided
  • 1 C chopped onion
  • 1/4 C flour
  • 2T brown sugar
  • 1/2 t ground ginger
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1/4 t black pepper, ground
  • 1.5 C orange juice
  • 1/2 C white wine

Method

  • Melt 4T butter over med/high heat and brown chicken. Remove chicken and add the next 4T of butter and onoin. Cook onion till browned. Mix flour, brown sugar, ginger, salt and pepper together and add to onion. Cook till smooth and bubbling. Slowly add orange juice and wine cook to a boil stirring till and sauce is formed. Add back chicken lowwer heat to simmer covered for 30 minutes. Uncover and cook till sauce is as you like thickness.
  • Serve with white rice.
