Ingredients

  • 4 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 large Prego chunky garden style
  • 1 pkg. fettucini noodles
  • 1 small can mushroom pieces and stems
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder

Method

  • Cook noodles until almost done; cut chicken into 1-inch cubes and saute in 1/8 cup oil with garlic, mushrooms, onions and salt and pepper to taste.
  • When onions are tender and chicken has no pink, add a jar of sauce and noodles.
  • Stir until thoroughly mixed. Place in a Dutch oven (ovenproof) or very large covered ovenproof dish.
  • Cover with slices of cheese until top is completely covered. Bake for 30 minutes covered and 30 minutes uncovered at 375°. Serves 12.
