Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. rice, uncooked
- 1 (3 lb.) chicken, uncooked, deboned and cut into pieces
- 1 pkg. Lipton dry onion soup mix
- 3 to 4 c. water
- 1 can cream of celery soup
Method
- In 9 x 13-inch pan, place rice, top with chicken.
- Sprinkle with onion soup mix.
- Add water and celery soup; cover tightly with foil and seal well.
- Bake at 325° or 2 to 3 hours.
- Don't peek, so the rice will cook.
- During the last few minutes, remove foil to allow the meat to brown.
