Ingredients
- 3/4 c. grain rice or 4.5 oz. pkg. herb-flavored rice mix
- 2 whole skinned and boned chicken breasts
- 1 tsp. lemon pepper seasoning
- 1/4 tsp. onion powder
- 2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
- 2 tsp. flour
- 1 Tbsp. Dijon-style mustard
Method
- Cook rice or herb-flavored rice mix according to package directions.
- Meanwhile rinse chicken; pat dry.
- Sprinkle both sides of chicken with lemon pepper and onion powder.
- In a skillet cook chicken in margarine or butter over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes or until no longer pink, turning once.
- Transfer to a platter.
- Keep warm.
