Ingredients
- 1 frying chicken, cut up
- 1/4 c. oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. green pepper
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 c. mushrooms
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 2 c. water
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
Method
- Brown
- chicken in oil.
- Remove from pan.
- Lightly brown onion, green pepper, garlic and mushrooms.
- Return chicken to pan. Combine
- tomato
- paste with remaining ingredients.
- Pour over chicken.
- Simmer, uncovered, 35 to 45 minutes.
