Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. olive oil
  • 1 lb. sweet Italian sausage, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 1/2 lb. cubed chicken breast
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 c. white wine
  • 1/2 c. chicken broth
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. rosemary
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 jar roasted peppers, chopped
  • noodles, cooked

Method

  • Cook sausage in oil until brown.
  • Remove from pan.
  • Add chicken and stir until cooked.
  • Remove from pan.
  • Pour out drippings, leaving 1 tablespoon.
  • Add garlic and saute.
  • Add wine and broth. Stir until boiling.
  • Add drained peppers, oregano and rosemary. Boil until thickened, approximately 10 minutes.
  • Whisk in butter, 1 tablespoon at a time.
  • Stir in sausage and chicken.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve over noodles.
