- 1/4 c. olive oil
- 1 lb. sweet Italian sausage, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 1/2 lb. cubed chicken breast
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 c. white wine
- 1/2 c. chicken broth
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. rosemary
- 1/2 stick butter
- salt and pepper
- 1 jar roasted peppers, chopped
- noodles, cooked
Method
- Cook sausage in oil until brown.
- Remove from pan.
- Add chicken and stir until cooked.
- Remove from pan.
- Pour out drippings, leaving 1 tablespoon.
- Add garlic and saute.
- Add wine and broth. Stir until boiling.
- Add drained peppers, oregano and rosemary. Boil until thickened, approximately 10 minutes.
- Whisk in butter, 1 tablespoon at a time.
- Stir in sausage and chicken.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve over noodles.
