Ingredients

  • 3 Tablespoons Butter
  • 3 cloves Garlic, Finely Minced
  • 1/2 cups 1% Milk
  • 1 Tablespoon Flour
  • 1 pound Store Bought Or Homemade Pizza Dough
  • Corn Meal, For Dusting
  • 1 cup Shredded, Cooked Chicken
  • 5 ounces, weight Fresh Mozzarella, Sliced
  • 3 whole Basil Leaves

Method

  • Preheat oven to 450 F. If you have one, place a pizza stone in the oven to heat.
  • In a small saucepan, simmer butter and garlic over medium-low heat until melted and aromatic.
  • Stir in milk to combine.
  • Turn heat to medium, bring just to a boil and whisk in flour until combined.
  • Remove from heat and allow to thicken.
  • Roll out pizza dough to desired thickness.
  • Sprinkle cornmeal on your pizza peel.
  • Carefully, transfer dough onto pizza peel.
  • Spread garlic butter sauce onto dough.
  • Top with chicken and cheese.
  • Slide pizza off of the pizza peel into the hot stone in the oven.
  • (Or you can do this all on a pizza pan if you arent using a stone).
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Remove from oven.
  • Tear basil leaves and place on top of pizza.
  • Serve.
