Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 to 3 pound chicken (best with boneless)
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 1 c. orange juice
  • 1/2 c. chili sauce
  • 1/4 c. minced green pepper
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 tbsp. molasses
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce

Method

  • Season chicken pcs with salt and pepper.
  • Coat lightly with flour and brown in the oil.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and place in casserole.
  • Remove grease from skillet and simmer the liquid mix of orange juice, chili sauce, green pepper, mustard, garlic salt, molasses and soy sauce.
  • Simmer for 3 min.
  • Pour over chicken in casserole.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
