Ingredients
- 4 apples, peeled cored and sliced
- 14 cup maple syrup
- 18 teaspoon salt
- 18 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons apple juice
Method
- Bring apples, syrup, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon to a simmer and simmer covered until apples are tender 10-15 minutes.
- Combine cornstarch and apple juice and add to stewed apples to thicken the sauce.
- Serve warm.
