Ingredients

  • 1 (32 oz.) pkg. frozen hash browns, thawed
  • 1 lb. American cheese (like Velveeta), cubed
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of celery soup
  • 16 oz. sour cream
  • 3/4 c. butter, melted
  • 3 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika
  • 2 c. corn flakes, crushed

Method

  • In a large bowl, combine hash browns, cheese, soup, sour cream, onion and 1/2 cup butter. Spread into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with paprika. Combine crushed corn flakes with remaining butter and sprinkle on top of casserole. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes or until hot and browned.
