Ingredients
- 2 lb. frozen hash browns, slightly thawed
- 1/2 c. melted butter or margarine
- 1/3 c. finely chopped onions
- 8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 pt. sour cream or half and half or light sour cream
- 1 can cream of chicken or cream of celery soup
Method
- Mix all together and put into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Let stand overnight or a few hours to blend flavors.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350° for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until golden brown on top.
- Makes 12 servings.
