Ingredients
- 2 c. (about 1/2 lb.) grated Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c. (1 cube) butter
- 1 c. sifted flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Method
- Combine all ingredients together with fingers or pastry blender until well blended. Roll into small balls, about the size of marbles (and marbles are quite small, by the way!).
- Place 1-inch or so apart on cookie sheets and bake 5 to 8 minutes in preheated 425° oven.
- Makes 10 to 12 dozen. Tastes like cheese puffs.
