Ingredients
- 3/4 lb. butter, softened
- 2 jars Old English cheese spread
- 2 loaves French bread (day old)
Method
- Cut crusts off French bread.
- Cut bread in 2-inch squares and freeze.
- Add cheese to butter and mix well.
- When bread is frozen, spread cheese mixture on all sides but the bottom of the cube. Return to freezer.
- Just before serving, bake at 400° for 15 minutes, watching carefully.
- Serve with salsa or soup or as a snack.
