Ingredients
- 1 c. olive oil
- juice of 1 lemon
- 2 Tbsp. basil
- 1 Tbsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
Method
- Make a marinade of ingredients.
- Wipe steaks with marinade. Let them soak 2 to 3 hours refrigerated or 45 minutes at room temperature.
- Turn several times to make sure steaks are well coated.
- Cook about 4 inches above coals for 5 to 6 minutes. Turn; baste and cook another 4 to 5 minutes.
- Baste again with pastry brush before removing from grill.
