Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. unsifted flour
  • 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. cold margarine or butter
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
  • 1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Method

  • Heat oven to 350°.
  • In a medium bowl, combine flour and sugar. Cut in margarine until crumbly.
  • Stir in 1/2 cup chips.
  • Press firmly on bottom of a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
  • Bake 15 minutes.
