Ingredients

  • 6 to 8 chicken breasts, cut in bite size pieces
  • 1 egg
  • 1 can Pet milk
  • 1 pkg. cashews
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 6 tbsp. corn starch
  • 3 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp. monosodium glutemate
  • 5 to 6 scallions (green onions)
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Rice

Method

  • Beat eggs and milk; soak chicken pieces several hours or over night.
  • Drain and roll in flour, fry until brown.
  • Drain on paper towel.
  • Mix sauce (broth, corn starch, soy sauce, sliced green onions and MSG).
  • Simmer in sauce pan until thickened.
  • In casserole dish layer chicken, shredded lettuce and sauce (two layers each).
  • Put nuts over top.
  • Serve over rice.
