Ingredients
- 3 lb. carrots, cut in round pieces
- 1 lb. bacon
- 1/4 lb. American cheese
- salt to taste
- butter or margarine (to grease baking dish)
Method
- Cut carrots and cook until tender.
- Cut bacon in 1-inch pieces and fry until crisp; drain.
- Dice cheese.
- Mix all ingredients and put into greased casserole.
- Top with butter or margarine.
- Bake at 350° in covered dish for 1 hour.
- Serves 8 to 10.
