Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 jar spaghetti sauce (32 oz.)
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 1/2 c. Ricotta or cottage cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 8 lasagna noodles
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

Method

  • Set microwave power select at High.
  • Crumble ground beef into large glass bowl.
  • Heat 2 to 3 minutes or until beef is browned; stir once.
  • Drain.
  • Stir in spaghetti sauce and water.
  • Meanwhile, combine Ricotta cheese, egg and pepper.
  • Spoon 1/2 cup of sauce in oblong baking dish.
  • Alternately layer uncooked noodles, egg mixture, Mozzarella cheese and sauce, forming 2 layers.
