Ingredients
- 1 c. corn (unpopped)
- 1 lb. brown sugar
- 2 sticks margarine
- 1/2 c. Karo syrup
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Method
- Pop corn.
- Melt sugar, margarine, Karo, salt and vanilla together.
- After all is melted, add baking soda to mixture. Mixture will foam up.
- Use large enough kettle to prevent foaming over sides.
- Pour over popcorn in roasting pan.
- Bake at 250° for 1 hour.
