Ingredients
- 1 pkg. pie crust mix
- 3 medium baking apples, washed, pared and cored
- 1 beaten egg
- 1/2 c. caramel sauce (from jar)
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/3 c. dark brown sugar
- 3/4 c. water
- 1/4 c. canned, toasted slivered almonds
Method
- Prepare pie crust as directed on box.
- Roll 1/8-inch thick. With pastry wheel, cut out 3 (7-inch) squares, 6 strips (6-inches long and 3/4-inch wide) and 3 (1-inch) circles, rolling dough if needed.
