Ingredients

  • marshmallows
  • yellow cake mix
  • cherry pie filling
  • Cool Whip

Method

  • Grease cake pan or large skillet.
  • Put marshmallows on bottom of pan.
  • Mix cake mix according to package directions and pour over marshmallows.
  • Spoon pie filling over cake mix.
  • Bake at 350° for 35 to 45 minutes or until marshmallows come to top and toast to light brown.
  • Or cover and cook over campfire until marshmallows come to top about 30 to 35 minutes.
  • Put Cool Whip on top of each hot serving.
