Ingredients

  • 18 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 1/3 c. melted oleo
  • 1 1/2 sq. semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1/3 c. evaporated milk
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. oleo
  • 1 qt. coffee ice cream, softened a bit
  • chopped nuts
  • Cool Whip

Method

  • Combine crushed Oreos and melted oleo.
  • Pat into a 10-inch pie plate or square pan.
  • Melt chocolate in 1 tablespoon oleo.
  • Add sugar and milk.
  • Cook until thick; cool.
  • Place coffee ice cream over crust.
  • Add cooled sauce.
  • Add Cool Whip and sprinkle with nuts on top.
  • Serves 8 to 10.
