Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. onion, chopped
  • 3/4 c. green pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 1 lb. ground round steak
  • 1 (6 oz.) can pitted ripe olives, sliced
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. flat noodles, cooked
  • 1 (1 lb.) can creamed corn
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can tomato soup
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (4 oz.) can chopped pimento
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/8 tsp. dry mustard
  • sharp cheese, grated

Method

  • Saute onion and green pepper in oil and place in a 3-quart casserole.
  • Saute meat and add to casserole with remaining ingredients except cheese.
  • Spread cheese on top and bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
  • Serves 8 generously.
