Ingredients

  • 1 head cabbage
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 3 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 small jar Cheez Whiz
  • 2 c. cooked rice

Method

  • Shred and cook cabbage for 10 to 15 minutes; drain.
  • Saute in butter the garlic, onion, celery and bell pepper.
  • Add soup and Cheez Whiz.
  • Pour soup mixture over cabbage.
  • Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch casserole pan that has been layered with cooked rice. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
