Ingredients

  • 1 c. crushed cornflakes
  • 4 oz. grated cheese
  • 4 to 5 c. shredded cabbage
  • 1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise

Method

  • Mix
  • cabbage,
  • water chestnuts and onion together.
  • Mix melted butter,
  • cream
  • of
  • celery
  • soup, milk and mayonnaise together. In a buttered dish, add vegetables and pour mixture over
  • the top.
  • Sprinkle
  • grated
  • cheese over mixture and top with crushed cornflakes.
  • Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
