Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 c. brown sugar, packed
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Method
- Melt butter over low heat.
- Remove

- stir
- in brown sugar. Stir well.
- Cool and stir in
- eggs.
- Sift dry ingredients together and stir in, then add
- vanilla and nuts.
- Spread in well-greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Bake at
- 350°
- for
- 20 to 25 minutes or when lightly touched with
- finger in center, slight imprint remains.
- Cut while warm.
