Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3 eggs
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 3/4 c. pecan halves
- 1 unbaked pie shell
Method
- Cream the butter, sugar and vanilla; add eggs one at a time. Add flour, salt and buttermilk to egg mixture; beat until smooth. Put pecans in bottom of crust.
- Slowly pour mixture over pecans. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes (until center is set).
