Ingredients
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 2/3 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. lard
- 3/4 c. buttermilk
Method
- Combine dry ingredients.
- Cut in lard.
- Add milk all at once. Knead lightly; roll out 1/2-inch thick.
- Cut out and place on greased baking pan.
- Bake at 450° for 12 to 15 minutes.
- Brush top with melted butter.
- Serve hot.
- Makes 12 (2-inch) biscuits.
