Ingredients
- 1 c. hot water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 stick oleo
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 5 c. flour
Method
- Dissolve first 4 ingredients together.
- Dissolve next 3 ingredients together.
- Beat the eggs.
- Then put all liquids together and pour over flour; mix together.
- Let stand overnight in refrigerator.
- Divide into 2 parts.
- Roll round and spread top with soft butter, then cut each into 16 wedges.
- Roll in horn by starting to roll at large end.
- Place on greased baking sheet with point on underside.
- Let rise for four to six hours.
- Bake in 375° oven for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Brush with butter.
- Makes 32 rolls.
