Ingredients

  • FOR THE CRUST:
  • 4 cups Oatmeal
  • 1/4 cups Light Karo Syrup
  • 1/4 cups Peanut Butter
  • 3/4 cups Butter, Softened
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • FOR THE TOPPING:
  • 2/3 cups Peanut Butter
  • 1/2 cups Butterscotch Morsels
  • 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Method

  • Mix the crust ingredients together. Press into a greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 400°F for 10-12 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool about 5 minutes.
  • For the topping, spread the peanut butter evenly over the crust. Sprinkle the butterscotch chips and then the chocolate chips over the peanut butter. Take a knife and gently spread the chips as they begin to melt.
  • Let the bars cool completely before cutting. Makes approximately 24 two-inch sized bars.
