Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp. almond extract
- 2 1/2 c. flour
Method
- Cream butter.
- Gradually
- add
- sugar.
- Beat
- in egg and almond extract (by
- hand).
- Gradually
- blend
- in flour.
- Chill dough for ease in handling.
- Roll out dough on lightly floured surface to 1/8
- inch thickness.
- (We like them thin;
- however, you can make them
- thicker,
- if so desired.) Cut into desired shapes and bake at 350°
- on
- ungreased cookie sheet (about 10 minutes, or until golden
- brown).
- Frost
- with confectioners sugar frosting when cool.
