Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Ground Beef
  • 1 cup Chopped Onion
  • 2 Tablespoons Flour
  • 1 cup Ketchup
  • 4 Tablespoons Chopped Dill Pickles
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 cups Frozen French Fries
  • Lawry's Seasoned Salt, To Taste
  • Lettuce And Tomato For Garnish

Method

  • 1.
  • Heat oven to 450F.
  • In a 12-inch skillet, cook beef and onion with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Drain well!
  • Sprinkle flour over beef mixture, cook one minute stirring constantly.
  • Stir in ketchup, pickles, and cook 2 3 minutes.
  • 2.
  • In an ungreased 1 1/2-quart casserole, spread hamburger mixture.
  • Sprinkle with cheese.
  • Arrange frozen French fries in a single layer on top and sprinkle with Lawrys seasoned salt to taste.

  • Bake uncovered for 20 minutes or until fries are golden brown.
  • Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
  • 4.
  • Serve with shredded lettuce, diced fresh tomatoes and ketchup and mustard to taste.
