Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 can cream of celery or mushroom soup
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 c. shredded cheese
  • 2 c. cooked macaroni or noodles
  • 1 can tuna, drained and flaked
  • 2 Tbsp. buttered bread crumbs

Method

  • Cook onion in butter until tender.
  • Stir in soup, milk, 1 1/2 cups of the cheese, macaroni and tuna.
  • Pour into a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
  • Top with bread crumbs and remaining cheese.
  • Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until lightly browned and bubbling.
