Ingredients
- 2 c. Brussels sprouts
- 1/2 c. water
- 3 medium carrots, cut in bite size pieces
- 2 Tbsp. orange juice
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 Tbsp. honey
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. ground ginger
Method
- Cut large Brussels sprouts in half.
- Heat 1/2 cup water, lightly salted, to boiling.
- Add sprouts and carrots.
- Return to boiling.
- Reduce heat.
- Cook, covered, 10 to 15 minutes or until tender-crisp; drain.
- Return to saucepan.
