Ingredients

  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 lb. margarine
  • 4 sq. bitter chocolate (Baker's)
  • 1 c. pecans, chopped
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Method

  • Melt butter and chocolate in top of double boiler. While waiting, measure flour and sugar.
  • Mix together, then add beaten eggs, then melted butter and chocolate.
  • Mix all together.
  • Add flavoring and nuts.
  • Pour into two 8-inch square pans. Bake in preheated oven at 325° for about 30 minutes.
  • Let cool before cutting.
