Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 2 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted or 6 Tbsp. powdered unsweetened cocoa and 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts (optional)
Method
- Cream butter, sugar and vanilla.
- Beat in eggs.
- Blend in chocolate.
- Stir in flour and nuts.
- Bake in greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan at 325° for 30 to 35 minutes.
- Cool and cut into 16 squares.
