Ingredients

  • 1 14 cups brown rice
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 3 cups chicken broth, divided
  • 1 teaspoon dried onion
  • 1 tablespoon dried sweet pepper
  • 12 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon chicken bouillon

Method

  • Melt butter in a skillet, add rice and crushed garlic and saute until golden brown.
  • Add 1 cup of chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  • Combine 2 cups broth, bouillon, sweet peppers, cumin in a sauce pan.
  • Add rice,bring to a boil, reduce heat to simmer,cover an cook for 50 to 55 minutes
  • Remove from heat, let stand 5 mins and fluff.
