Ingredients
- 1 lb. large mushrooms
- 4 c. cold water
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 c. butter, melted
- salt and pepper
Method
- Wash mushrooms.
- Trim stems to 1/2-inch length.
- Soak in cold water and lemon juice 5 minutes.
- Drain and dry well.
- Brush with butter.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Broil 6 inches from heat, until lightly browned, about 10 minutes.
- Serve with remaining melted butter.
