Ingredients

  • 1 x clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 piece fresh ginger root, 1/2 inch, grated
  • 2 tsp vegetable oil
  • 1 lb broccoli, cut into florets
  • 1 med leek, thinly sliced white part only
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable stock
  • 1 tsp tamari soy sauce

Method

  • Saute/fry ginger and garlic in oil for 1 minute.
  • Add in the broccoli,leek, and stock.
  • Toss together.
  • Cover the pan and cook for 3 min.
  • Remove the cover and continue to saute/fry till the vegetables are just tender, about 10 min.
  • Fold in the tamari and serve immediately.
