Ingredients

  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed chicken broth
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 3 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
  • 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2/3 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/3 c. sour cream
  • 1 Tbsp. minced onion

Method

  • Cook and drain the chopped broccoli.
  • Soften gelatin in water. Add condensed chicken broth to gelatin; heat and stir until gelatin is dissolved.
  • Beat mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice and minced onion with rotary beater until smooth.
  • Add gelatin and beat again.
  • Fold eggs and broccoli into partially set gelatin mixture.
