Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 pkg. chopped broccoli
  • 1 c. water
  • 5 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
  • 6 c. half and half
  • 2 lb. American cheese

Method

  • Grate American cheese and set aside.
  • Chop onion and saute in butter.
  • Cook frozen broccoli in water.
  • Combine onion and broccoli using all liquid.
  • Add bouillon cube and stir until dissolved.
  • Add garlic powder, dash of pepper, half and half and grated American cheese.
  • Heat until cheese is melted, stirring constantly.
