Ingredients

  • 1 lb. pork sausage
  • 1 c. frozen hash browns, thawed
  • 4 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese

Method

  • Preheat oven to 375°.
  • Crumble sausage into a large skillet. Cook over medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes, breaking up clumps, until cooked through and lightly browned.
  • Remove from skillet and drain.
  • Spoon into 10-inch pie pan. Top with hash browns and Cheddar cheese.
  • Beat eggs with milk and pepper.
  • Pour over hash browns and cheese.
  • Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake 30 to 35 minutes until slightly puffed and a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
  • Makes 6 servings.
