Ingredients
- 1 lb. sausage, cooked and drained
- 4 slices, cubed bread
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 6 eggs, beaten
- 2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sage or Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- dash of Worcestershire sauce
- dash of Tabasco (optional)
Method
- Layer sausage in long, greased glass casserole.
- Sprinkle bread cubes, then cheese over sausage.
- Beat eggs, milk, salt, sage, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco sauce together and pour over sausage, bread and cheese.
- Refrigerate at least 6 hours before baking at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes.
