Ingredients
- bread
- dry parsley
- 7 eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 lb. meat (ham, sausage or bacon), browned and drained
- 3 c. milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- cornflakes
Method
- Grease 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
- Layer bread slices to completely cover bottom of pan.
- Layer meat, cheese and sprinkle parsley.
- Cover completely with another layer of bread.
- Combine eggs, milk, mustard and salt.
- Pour over bread and meat layers. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Crush cornflakes and spread over top of casserole.
- Melt margarine and drizzle over top.
- Bake at 300° for 1 hour.
