Ingredients
- 6 slices white bread
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. grated cheddar cheese
- 1 lb. mild sausage
- 6 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 2 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Method
- Cook sausage and break into small pieces.
- Drain well. Break bread into 9x13 baking dish.
- Add layer of sausage and a layer of cheese until all is used.
- Beat eggs and add seasonings and milk. Pour over mixture and cover with foil.
- Refrigerate overnight. Bake one hour covered at 350°.
- Great for brunch.
- Serves 8.
