Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. All-Bran or granola cereal or rolled oats
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
  • 1/4 c. honey (or less)
  • 1 banana, mashed
  • 1/2 c. melted margarine
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • chopped walnuts (optional)

Method

  • Set
  • 1/2
  • cup cereal aside.
  • Combine remaining ingredients. Spread
  • into
  • greased
  • 11
  • x 7-inch baking dish.
  • Crush reserved cereal and sprinkle over batter.
  • Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Cool a few minutes and cut into squares.
