- 1 cauliflower
- 2 cucumbers
- 3 large onions
- 3 green peppers
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 c. coarse salt
- 5 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
- 1/2 tsp. cloves
- 1 zucchini
- 1 small yellow squash
- whole pods of small okra
- 2 pods sliced hot pepper
- 5 c. red vinegar
- 3 green tomatoes
- 1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
- 2 tsp. mustard seed
Method
- Chop vegetables into big pieces.
- Leave flowerets large.
- Put all vegetables in a large container.
- Sprinkle with salt.
- Pour 1/2 cup of water over all.
- Mix well.
- Cover and let set 12 hours or overnight.
