Ingredients
- 1 (15 oz.) box Raisin Bran (7 c.)
- 3 c. sugar
- 5 c. flour (plain)
- 2 tsp. salt
- 5 tsp. soda
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 qt. buttermilk
- 1 c. shortening or oil
Method
- Mix bran, sugar, flour, salt and soda in a large bowl.
- Add mixture of eggs, buttermilk and shortening.
- Mix well.
- Store in covered container in refrigerator and use as desired. Fill muffin tins 2/3 full.
- Bake at 400° for 15 minutes.
- Will keep at least 6 weeks.
