Ingredients

  • 2 (14 oz) bottles tomato ketchup
  • 3/4 cup bourbon
  • 1 T molasses
  • 1 T creole or whole grain mustard
  • 1 T chopped garlic
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp hot pepper sauce
  • 1 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne
  • 1 T peeled and grated fresh ginger

Method

  • combine all the ingredients in a food processor and process until smooth
  • Scrape down the sides of the bowl with a rubber spatula. Pulse 2 or 3 times. serve.
